One fashion tip I learned during my days of modeling - Shhhh! don't tell anyone - was to never have visible deodorant sitting in your arm pits.  If your deodorant is visible take a paper towel and wipe away the excess deodorant.... And if it gets on your clothes, then take a pair of old tights or pantyhose and rub away the marks.  This will not leave stains - unless your garment is that shiny silk... if it is, then good luck with that!
